Pulmonary Function Testing/Spirometry
This is a noninvasive test used to determine the air capacity of the lungs. This is done by measuring the maximum amount of air that can be exhaled after a maximum inhalation. It is helpful for evaluating conditions such as asthma, emphysema, and certain other conditions.

 

Echocardiography

Noninvasive, painless test that uses ultrasound to visualize the heart and its internal structures. It can assess the function of the heart and its valves and the size of the chambers.

 

Peripheral Arterial and Venous Doppler

Noninvasive test using ultrasound to evaluate the arterial and venous blood flow (circulation) of the extremities.

 

Cartoid Doppler

Noninvasive test similar to a Peripheral Doppler that specifically evaluates the carotid arteries. This test is useful to evaluate for any blockages.

 

Holter Monitor

This test is performed by wearing a portable device that records EKG tracings over a 24 hour period. It is useful for evaluating heart palpitations and irregular heartbeats.

 

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring A portable device is worn which performs serial,periodic BP measurements over a 24 hour period.

 

EKG, and treadmill testing are done here in the office.

Any necessary blood work is drawn here in the office and sent to the appropriate lab.
